I used the journey planner to find out a fare yesterday, but when I booked it today the price had gone up - why?
If you book your tickets on the day of travel, or travel on a Friday, you will be quoted a Standard fare; this is the maximum fare you will be charged for that journey. If you book your tickets before the day of travel and you are not travelling on a Friday, then you will be quoted an Economy fare.
We also offer discounts on certain journeys if they are booked either 7, 14 or 28 days in advance of travel.
