Is booking a ticket necessary? If I do not have a reservation, can I buy the ticket at the station?
Yes, if your departure point has a ticket office you can purchase a ticket there on the day of travel, but this is subject to seats being available. Wherever possible, you should try and book in advance, particularly on Eurolines services, overnight services (especially to Scotland) and at busy times such as Christmas, Easter and most Fridays and Sundays.
